Good question. My crystal ball doesn't speak German.
It's 2 weeks to Australia and then another 2 weeks to Italy. Unless they've got insurmountable problems, which I don't think they do, there might be some progress by then. Then again, it's possible for a team to miss the boat and have to go back to the drawing board. To me, this is all part of what makes this season exciting. And Ferrari is back where it belongs.

I've enjoyed the first two races. The new cars look sweet... not so jacked up in the rear... love the big wheels. It's always nice to see the lesser, hungrier teams finish in the points... and thanks to the mighty Ferrari engine, Haas and Alfa Romeo are far improved. Don't be surprised when those guys podium.
Mercedes will dial in their car, but is their engine stout enough to catch the Ferraris? That appears to be a big ask as everyone running German power is struggling, including McLaren. If he hadn't won last year, Danny Rick's seat would be getting a little toasty by now. I still say he has a future in IndyCars. Speaking of, anyone see Jimmie Johnson's sixth-place finish at Texas? His Indy 500 debut should be fun to watch.
Despite Max's victory, I'd be biting my nails if my program included the Red Bull Powertain. Major issues at Bahrain + Tsunoda's problems at Jeddah = they've got work to do. And with Honda's top brass now involved less, Tsunoda better get it together if he wants to continue his career as a Formula 1 driver.
Renault's new engine design shows promise. Watch out for Alpine as they're gunning for fourth spot in the constructor's championship. I believe they can do it.
Ralf Schumacher and Jacques Villeneuve both took recent shots at Aston Martin and specifically, Lawrence Stroll's approach to gain quick success by spending a bunch of money. And before the season even started, Vettel said his future with Aston depends on how they perform... not exactly the "rah-rah, let's go!" chatter to kick off the year. Let your fingers do the Googling if you haven't read these comments.
But hey -- it's incredibly early. We'll have a much better idea of the cards everyone's holding when we hit the European circuits.

Now , if they would show the races!!!
They also said Formula 1 is the biggest sport in the world because of Netflix.
Surely not true....Football/ Soccer still must be???...I cannot get my Chelsea watching family to join us with F1

Worldwide supposedly over 300 million people watch each race. The super bowl pulled a 3rd of that. I would still think soccer is bigger. They pulled almost 200 millions viewers on average on fifa games in 2018 and have had over 3.6 billion viewers during a fifa cup. Maybe f1 has taken out soccer as number 1. Pretty astronomical those numbers.
After two races who had Haas as 5th in the constructor standings? Yeah, me neither. Hoping this is trend and not fluke. I would have never guessed Haas would pull points in the first two races.
I noticed there was only one Haas car last weekend. I didn't catch what happened. Anybody know why they weren't fielding two cars?

Mick Shumacher crashed in qualifying, destroyed the car, and was in the hospital for observation. He's OK. The car not so much.
