not a big fan of street races in general but I may have to go see this Vegas race. I bet the strip gets completely repaved between now and then, cant have cars running at 200 mph on bumpy streets. Good call to do it in the evening although its not all that warm there at that time of the year. It will make for better photo ops as they scream past the fountains at the Bellagio and all the hotels lit up

And yep, that's me windskipping in the foreground. You could just rig on the tramp at the front and throw the gear into the ocean, then jump in and sail away. Crazy fun.

Quick throughout practice, Alonso had a good lap cookin' at the time a hydraulic issue switched off the engine and gearbox, resulting in him nosing it into the tires... bummer.

Porpoising or not, the Ferraris are stout. Sainz needed Geek Squad to fix his steering wheel, but he eventually experienced his own driver error. I wonder if extreme porpoising will cause pieces on the red cars to fail?

What a blow for Max. When the Red Bulls and Alphas can get through a few weekends without issue, they'll be breathing a little easier. Until then, Whiney Spice isn't happy.

Mercedes is getting things dialed in. Watch out for those silver cars -- Toto's squad is hungry.

Nice weekend for McLaren and Alfa Romeo. Love to see Bottas running well. Despite Alonso's misfortunes, Alpine has a fast machine and those blue & pink guys are pumped.

Williams' single point was a bit of a fluke as they didn't pit until the last lap. Btw, is "Latifi" French for "wadded up carbon?" The team's top brass must seriously be wondering if a rich guy's cash is worth this kind of trouble.

Downer weekend for Haas... and my oh my, is Aston in trouble. Larry, meet Karma... Karma, this is Larry. :D

Imola will give us a better idea of the cards the teams are holding. First of the year's three qualifying races, comin' up!

I am happy Max quit the race because he smelled something...and then showed the marshal where to spray and put the fire out....seemed quite calm.
Happy for Charles !! Good job. and Checo showing his worth as a Red Bull driver.

Some great mid field battles and results...Unfortunate how crappy our two Canadian drivers are...Perhaps I will become more British :laugh: :bassist:
