This is great Peter, many thanks!!! I got the MC6, it's very versatile (not just with
the Future Impact, I am using mostly to pilot the H9 now). My only minor complaint
is the absence of a USB-MIDI host (available on the DMC however), but nothing is
perfect...
Here's some unrelated yet useful information for wind players. A small French
company has released a revolutionary microphone, that sounds as great as
professional dynamic microphones, while being as compact as piezo microphones,
which allow complete insertion inside the tube of the instrument.
This means no spill, no feedback, no need to drill the instrument, while having a
rich natural tone. I have been using it on my saxophone for about a month with the
Future Impact and other crazy effects, and I can now hope to play in a live situation
with a single wet/dry channel.
