I would also recommend the MC6. You can set each button to change patch and engage the pedal. You can also add additional foot switches to give you more buttons and/or an expression pedal to control parameters over midi. Super easy to program too.

Oops, sorry, I thought I was in the C4 thread. Not enough sleep.

Yes, you could pitch a waveform (or mix of two or three) an octave down on another oscillator and blend it. You’ll need to make sure summed levels within a single oscillator and between two or more oscillators don’t exceed 127 if you don’t want foldover distortion to kick in.

Why is that? If it’s a range thing, there could be two reasons:

1. by default, CC11 and CC74 only sweep the filter over a two-octave range either side of the programmed cutoff level in the patch; you can set this range to four or eight octaves in the boot menu if you want a wider sweep.

2. As said, the CC filter sweep always takes the value of the cutoff in the patch as it’s centre point so if that is very low or very high, the sweep range will be limited on one side.

@drewphishes it's also worth bearing in mind that the FI has some very useful features assigned to CC, such as the tuner, dry volume control, synth volume etc., so having a controller capable of sending out these messages, programmed to your liking, is a great thing.

I heartily recommend the Morningstar stuff. It’s brilliant, well thought-out, easy to program and the guys at the company listen to their customers and are constantly updating the feature set in line with requests and the cool stuff they think of themselves.

It's more of the overall timbre of the filter. I much prefer running the Future Impact sounds through a MF-101 but due to board real estate have now switched to an Iron Ether Xerograph Deluxe. I like leaving the Future Impact sounds as they are and then applying a sweep on them. I've tried both and even just the FI MIDI sweeps and this is just my pref, though I have had luck with many of the presets.

the fat bass is pretty great I would use that alot! lmk if youre gonna upload. I csnt get the boogie on to sound good for me, I think the best I found for boogie on was the DI emulator 1 with some tweaks

I think it’s because of the pitch-tracked filter, that often causes glitching on big jumps. In any case, I’m revisiting it as, with fresher ears, I think it still needs work.

What error? Link sharing is definitely on for these and they appear when I browse. Occasionally I get playback errors on TB and then either refreshing the page and clicking again works or clicking on the arrow in the corner of the link tile takes you to the file within google drive and plays back there.

worked for me today. The other day I got a file not there/shared error. killer job on all of these!
