Future Impact now available!! WAS: deep impact reissue!!! interested?

Having some fixed envelope actually yields a better result than envelope follower alone. I think I amended the tutorial to mention that routing envelope follower to ADSR-to-filter depth via a flexi gives the most pleasing results. I’ll have to check. If I didn’t, that’s a cool trick to use.
I've mostly only used my FI for synth waveform sounds and not clean filter sounds, but that makes sense- I've found the same when making synth sounds too (makes my playing more expressive than a simple ADSR envelope)

I have read the manual myself, but mostly only refer to manuals directly when I run into problems making sounds (which I haven't much when building off of existing preset templates with the FI)
Sorry, I mentioned it more for the benefit of the user who posted the question as I know you’ve been using the FI for a long time.

I got the v4 two days ago and I couldn't stop playing with it to record something for y'all! THIS THING IS SO AMAZING!

I just recorded a YouTube video where I explore 3 different presets on the same song. Can you figure out where? :)

And THANKS Andras! My pedal has your signature, I'm so honored!!!!!!!!!!

What presets are you using?

I forgot to take detailed notes, but I recalled to the pedal and could identify it again.

All of them are factory presets. I am using the 22 for the main song, but on the bridges, I am using the 07 and the 40!

The tracking is very good, and in the mix, minor imperfections are what make it like cool, it's not very sterile, it really looks like analog synths.

Attached samples.

@Quatschmacher my very friendly browser seems to think the V4 Editor download on Panda Midi's site is unsafe. Can you send me the correct link to the site/download?

Thank you in advance!
Windows or Mac?

If the latter, you need to right-click and run the DMG file.

If the former, this might be a recent Windows issue as normally there no such warning but recently I’ve had problems installing Source Audio’s editors.

The editor on panda’s site is the same file I have.

I'm having a crash when trying to open FIEditor4 on my Mac (M1), it was working two days ago :(
I'm running from the Applications folder, not from the dmg image.
Any clue? Have you ever faced that?

Something tells me it's trying to allocate memory where it shouldn't.

PS: I have SIP disabled (because it's quite impossible to use a Mac nowadays with it enabled).

Playing around with the FIv4 in the send/return loop of my HX Stomp XL with its looper. I have the HX sending program changes to the FIv4 through MIDI, so I can use snapshots within a single HX patch to call up different FI patches, turn on/off certain effects, and control the looper.

Ok. You just made me commit on the HX Stomp purchase (I was almost there!). Very good video. Nicely done my friend!
