I just installed flatwounds last night. Sounds even better.

Right kai_ski I meant is it a hog, not a pig. So what kind of flats did you put on it? I have been thinking about tossing a set on mine.

I found a set of Fender in the bottom of my box o' junk - Stainless 9050M (.055, .070, .090, .105). They are rather heavy, and therefore higher tension, so I had to adjust the truss rod. They feel good. And sound great.

My pleasure: My recently acquired like new ASAT semihollow fretless, ebony board w/ghostlines, clear orange, nat'l wood binding, and matching headstock. Just like I would have ordered one from the factory! I rotate between TI Flats and Black Diamond Black Coated strings played into an Eden Nemesis RS210 combo.

I still need to snap and host some pics of my Li'l Red Lynx from about 1987.

Bowling ball finish. It is applied over black undercoat. I'm not sure, but I don't think they do it anymore.
