That's funny.

On another note, the new Kiloton feels heftier both in body and neck, which I like as a contrast to the empress jb I have and the pine fretless kilo.

I mean nothing like the P's I've never gotten along with, and not near as heavy as a RIC, for instance. But I dig a little weight, cause occasionally the lighter basses feel like toys.

I'm not fixin to bust out the scale or the tape measure, I'm just sayin.

Is Old School Tobacco meant to rename the original G&L 2-tone burst?...or are they slightly different finishes. They look the same to me.

That's what I ordered on my forthcoming L2K, except with the light tint satin. Thanks for posting that pic, it's beautiful, and gives me a more realistic look at what mine's going to look like. :thumbsup:

So you're saying they should offer, for example, only one red finish? According to the Finishes page on the G&L web site, they offer five different reds, not counting the Redburst. So, c'mon, if four is too much then you must think five is WAY too much. How about blues? They offer NINE blues, not counting the blueburst? How would you describe that level of lunacy?

They offer them because they sell. If you don't like them, fine, buy a different color. But G&L clearly disgarees with you, and apparently in an even bigger way when it comes to other finishes.
