Thank you. I have bought two basses this year (one is a Kiloton-5) and I do not consider buying this one nor making the journey. The asked price is way too high anyway even in my country, it should be closer to €1,200/1,400 (same number in US$) because an El Toro is rare, sought after and this one is in good condition...
I sold an ASAT Bass Leo Fender Signature (1989, unlined fretless ebony board, natural gloss too) last year, I was not able to get more than €750 (US$750) for it. My 1999 USA SB-2 sold for €950 18 months ago, a fair price here.

Okay, I'm sure I could figure this out by piecing together the posts above and looking at user manuals and all, but maybe y'all just know this off the top of your head and feel like thumb-typing at me, so thanks in advance if you can answer this:

If I have two stock Fullerton JB4s (a 2018 and a 2021), and two stock Fullerton Kilotons (2019 and 2021), do I have the right pots for my pickups?

Assuming stock pickups and no mods?

I was just curious about the above Fullerton Deluxe specs. Did they move away from Sugar Pine to Alder & Ash?

I'd like to wire an L2000 with a separate switch for each pickup for single coil option. That way it could be played with both singles, or either pickup could be singled individually while the other is still in humbucker mode. Of course, that adds two switches to the three already there, giving it about as many switches as a 747. And five switches has to really confuse us bass players...we're only used to counting "1, and 2, and 3, and 4."

I did something similar to my '96, but not as extreme as @Kawai2g4b 's

As you can see, I added a 4th switch.
The early '96-'97 L2500's came wired Parallel and OMG, without Series, just like the L2000's of the same era and earlier.
Problem was that the OMG mode was somehow mistakenly wired with the same Polarity on each pickup, so you got double the 60-cycle hum (each pickup hummed). So I got that fixed by moving one wire on the S/P switch. I then added the switch to be able to go from Inner and Outer coils. The switch is a 3-way on-on-on, like one you'd use for S/P/SC. Down is outer coils (70's Jazz bass), up is Inner coils (sounds kind of Warwick Thumb-ish). In the middle, it's back to how it was from the factory, with the double-hum mode, but sounds very aggressive.

So with the 4th switch in conjunction with the pickup selector, there are double the tones from just the one addition.
I also added a push-pull Volume pot to give me regular ol' Series when pulled up.

Any pickup designed to fit a P-bass should work. I put an MFD split coil in my Tribute LB-100. That being said, I haven't specifically put the DP122 in mine. If you don't get an answer regarding that specific pickup, I suggest you try asking on bassesbyleo.com/forum.

@Stan_da_man, T-34 is right. You already have a humbucker on that bass. So if there's a hum and you suspect the shielding, and if you're sure it's not a ground issue, it's almost certainly from outside interference and not the split-coil humbucker pickup. Tributes normally come with shielding paint in the cavities--OK, but not great. I'd try improving the shielding with either more shielding paint or copper tape. A first step of that might be to make sure the shielding paint is grounded at some point. If it's not, it's doing nothing. Also, check the pickup to make sure it's properly installed. If one of the coils is installed upside down, it is no longer a humbucker. That almost never happens, until it does. I had that issue many years ago with a 1970 Fender P-bass.

On my L2500, the mode switch is: series (toward neck), single coil (middle), and parallel (toward bridge).

Parallel/Split/OMG (series with a treble cap)

OMG - is going to be the higher output low end focused sound. I tend not to use it on the Fallout as it could use a touch of bass cut (how I use series on my L2500). Do not be afraid to turn the volume down a touch when using this mode. Generally true of any G&L when switching into a series mode.

Split - Nice clear tone with plenty of low end, but will have some noise due to not being a hum canceling mode.

Parallel - Sounds similar to Split with no hum. There is a little bit of a different voice than Split, but very similar. I tend to hear it as a slightly different high end than the split coil mode.

For $4K I'm going with either a Marco or Mike Lull. Can get some impressive tops from Marco for that and basically hand made. Both have histories of perfect right out of the box.
I can't justify that kind of pricing for a machine made bass especially based on some of the Fullerton necks I've played. They were good, but not that good.
