G&L Club Part 7

Weird so more like a jazz bass then
What jglunt said. They are true single coils and the do hum when solo. So kinda like a jazz vibe but it most definitely doesnt sound like a jazz. The MFD singles are unlike anything else. Perhaps that was it's downfall.

I would describe the old SB-2 as very aggressive at all times. The pj version is similar in that way but the jj and pj version also sound very different from each other.

Collect em all! I love these basses.

Well, I decided to get another L-2000 instead of the SB-2. I know, quite a difference! I had an L-2000, and like a dummy I sold it and had been jonesin' for another one, so I picked up a used Tribute. Should have it next week sometime. Looking forward to getting it and going over it w/ a fine tooth comb! It's a 3-tone sunburst, so it'll have a similar look to my JB-2, but w/ a rosewood fretboard instead of maple.
