Well, I do it for space constraints but also because I know what I need. My first L-2000 serves my purposes just great. While it technically qualifies as my second bass, I won't as I am moving it and I don't need it as it doesn't provide anything different.

I do it because I have 4 kids.... But times are good and I expect to be looking at an LB-100 or SB-1 by the end of the year.

I went from 4 to 1 bass when my kids were in diapers. Sold 2 Fenders and 1 G&L, kept my 1971 Fender Jazz. Now that the kids are grown and on their own, the collection has grown. No regrets from me!

Or delve into the myriad of wiring possibilities. Keep the '89 stock and wire the other up with series and single coil options?

If I could afford to, I would! Maybe some day. I bought this on credit, to pay credit off - so it is imperative that I move the bass.

Before talkbass, I was content with my L-2000 Tribute. Now I'm determined I need an inexpensive Squier Fretless and an SB-1 with Flats...

Yeah, I gave you a hard time a few posts back, but I do respect you going in with a plan and then sticking to it. You're buying with your head and not your heart.

That's a beauty! I've never been a fan of black and rosewood but the blackburst makes the combo work perfectly.
