Speaking of tuners....
I may have found the rattle in my M2500. I'm not sure if it was there when I got it, but I can't recall anything hitting it in the two weeks since I've had it but I just noticed this damaged tuner. It's really loose because the peg is spread. It's just strange because there's no way I wouldn't have noticed in the few times I've had to tune it. Anyway, I have another coming from G&L. Simple fix and I hope it takes care of the rattle. I can hold it and the rattle goes away so it probably will.

If that's a US light tuner, after you take the broken one off, you should send it along to @dannnnn so he can see if it fits his Tribby's ferule. Just a thought...

Hey guys! Wasn't sure if this question was worth starting a new thread for but do you guys know if the L2ks have the same bodies as the SB series? or is it that they have a more traditional Precision style body?

As far as I know there are 4 body styles.

ASAT - Tele style.
JB - Jazz Bass style.
L and M Series - P Style.
SB an Kiloton - Slimmed down P style.

the L and M are already slimmer than a P with better upper fret access--the SB/Kiloton just has some different curves.

G&L sighting in the wild!

This video from a show I did at eTown Hall in Boulder, CO (see my profile pic...) was just posted. Fretless L2500, bridge pickup only, in parallel, direct through an Aguilar DB900. It's mellow, but it's a fun song to play.

Most of the rest of that gig is up, but the rest was upright bass.

I wish I could work with the 17mm spacing. I had to part with my M2500 (Tribute) and get the M2000.

so the secret to the lynx with the mesa d180 is the treble boost, it sounds like an active bass now, pretty freakin sweet

Thanks to Greg at Rocket Music for being so quick and easy to work with. This bass is AMAZING! I think if I were to custom order a bass, this would be it (except for maybe a quilted maple top but I don't think they offer that with the empress body). This bass really blows my mind. I've got a couple instruments at higher price tags but this one just has me drooling to gig with it this weekend.

I saw on my FB feed that the kiloton is being made in a 5 string- 4 and 1 headstock too
