Tried this today, great condition, awesome tone, very playable, too bad it didn't have a chunkier neck with a thick slab or rosewood

I was eyeballing that one. How's the neck? Straight? Is it heavy? Thanks!!Invalid Link Removed

as far as I could tell it had some discoloration by the knobs and a slight scuff on the bottom, everything else seemed brand new and the set up was buzz free to the 15th fret, I didn't try any higher frets or go through all the tonal options, the weight was lighter than my 83 L2k, manageable for sureI was eyeballing that one. I posted this (below) in the Mesa Subway Club thread but decided there was enough good G&L content to post here. Vintage L2000 E series and El Toro provided all of the low notes this past Saturday evening.
This past weekend's gig. Don't mind the mess; we were still getting set up. I wasn't sure if I should post this in the G&L Club, Barefaced Club, Mesa Boogie Subway Series Club, or Singer's Left Foot Club.
The rig sounded fantastic! I had a great tone dialed in within moments of setting everything up. And what an easy load-in with the BFST cab. I'd say my amp/cab buying days are over. Except... A D800+ might be nice...

Upgrade my Flats?
Have the DR FL45 flats, 45-105, on my SB1.
Considering upgrading to Link Removed, AKA Original Vintage 1954s, 52-110.
Anyone use the LaBella Flats on their G&L? Please post your opinion.
