G&L Club Part 7

Put an old set of TI JF344 Flats on the Lynx.
Sounds good through the B15.
The single coils are a bright pickup.
The flats help tame.
BTW, Do have the factory "radio" knobs.

12 week+ now for my order, and no word of it. Placed order @ dealer 7/25. Dealer has told me repeatedly G&L are generally uncommunicative about this sort of thing, though I know they were invoiced for it a while back. Antsy.
Oh man, I didn't want to hear that. I placed my order in September. A buddy of mine got his in about five weeks last year. Lefty, too.

I have been checking out G&L's Instagram page.
Excellent examples of their finishes.
Yes, there are plenty of 6 strings, but check out the finishes.
Click on the pic(s) to see which vendor is receiving the instrument.

This is what I did starting early in the summer when block inlays became a thing. It became one of my daily stops and helped me settle on the clear blue finish.

A month or two later, a guitar with a spalted maple showed up and it had never even occurred to me that they did that. So that became my order. I lucked out with the timing as G&L went wood buying the week after I made my inquiry; so someday, if the fates allow, clear blue spalted maple amazingness.

I'm hoping for something like this plus this:

I had a black one as well. Wasn't playing much at the time, unfortunately, so it never got the playtime it deserved. Sold it to fund my LB-100, and I don't regret it, but I have nothing bad to say about the SB-2 other than the weight.
