Thanks! exactly what I wanted to know.I had a very early JB, the neck pickup route was tight and looked great with the guard off.

All of the Fender basses I have owned in my life (about 1/2 dozen) have required a shim to get the crazy low action I desire. Do the G&Ls suffer from the same design or workmanship issues?
Both my custom order G&L's arrived this week! MJ-4 was ordered in april, and the M2500 was ordered in july, so there can be quite a variation in waiting times it seems! Anyway, they're both gorgeous, they both play very well, and they both sound fantastic!

Beautiful. At first I was shocked at how long you had to wait but then I see that you're in Norway. I'm sure that probably slowed things down a bit. I just ordered an SB-1 Fretless a few weeks ago and I hope I don't have to wait that long![]()
Guys how often do old L2000 necks (3 bolt micro tilt) come up for sale. Where is the best place to look? Mine has developed a bit of a ski ramp plus the truss rod hex hole us stripped.

Very nice! How did they come out weight wise?

These are impressive art pictures, the best I have seen here... Gorgeous and tasty models! I guess you are as good a musician as a photographer and artist.
Noticed the double K-switch. A must. Same as on my M-2500 (post #1064 above), but action is up and down on mine, more handy, I think.
Your new M-2500 remembers me the one that Torbass, also from Norway, had posted on TBF 2 years ago:
