No, standard 1 5/8 or whatever. I do wish it were just a hair narrower, I do find the bound edges a little 'hard' at times. But it has perfect (not ss) frets and fretwork, I am more precise on this neck than any other. In hindsight I might have gone with stainless, I dig in and play hard. But it was a big upcharge on an expensive for me bass, so that was a corner I chose to cut.
I like the fact that G&L is standardizing his production. At the moment, in fact, it is quite a jungle.
I'm not sure if I've got it correctly but to me it looks like the Fender lineup and it makes a lot of sense.

Fullerton Deluxe -> American Elite
Tribute -> Player
Option Order -> Mod Shop
I hope they're gonna extend this nomenclature to all the models. What do you think about it?

I notice that the Fullerton Standard line now come with gig bags and not cases. I wonder if they even come with build sheets and COAs? Hopefully the best part of G&L which is the "custom shop feel" of even their most basic offerings doesn't suffer.

I just got this 1997 L-2000 from Brad. What an incredible instrument. I'm blown away.
Not to bother everyone,but finally got this nice US L2000 neck,from a great TBer,on here,after talking about needing a neck for this 2006 Cherry Burst body. Finally got it together just today,after putting a new pre cut jazz width nut,and having to sand down the neck pocket to get it to fit. Due to the neck,being a 2017,and the body a 2006,had to do some minor sanding and a patiently getting into position,where the neck,and body holes lined up. Due to the roundness,at the heel,of the neck,and the routing on the bottom,have a small gap. Less than a credit card thickness. Got it all setup,and playing it now. Was going to let a local luthier put it together,but got restless,and decided to do it myself. Jazz width neck,is like new,smooth satin finish, no fret spurs at all. Strings are right where I like them. Neck feels just like my L1000,which was pleked from the factory.
