OMG enabled folks....yay or nay? Hard to see with the blue bass but the red one looks like it might have 2 green capacitors on the middle switch.

Very, very nice. Those Empress bodies are shockingly light, aren't they? I have two and every time I pick one up I kind of marvel at how little each weighs, yet they're remarkably resonant.
Turns out a few squirts of Deoxit into the pot fixed everything.

Posted this to the main forum already, but I couldn't resist sharing. My first G&L, and first US-Made bass. It bought it "off-the-rack" from a local dealer. Swamp ash body. 1.5" nut and 9.5" radius. I was thinking I'd want a wider nut and flatter radius, but it is really comfortable and easy to play.

This was a little shop that had 3-4 us-built G&Ls, and a few more Tributes. Not a big inventory, but a very nicely curated selection. Amazing customer service and very competitive pricing also.

Delighted to hear that they've resumed sending quartersawn necks to Virginia.... 
Found out by talking to Memo in the technical department at G&L,that my L2000 blue burst was made in March 26,2004. Even had info which music store was sent to,and the finish,and type neck it should have. Flame,quarter sawn,fretless ghost lines,with body binding.
