I will say this and sorry to those who heard this before @Papazita I'm slated to do more of traditional R&B record this summer for the end of the year release Paul Rawlins who played with Chaka Kahn and Sam Fern on guitar who is one of the cats that is a Greg Howe disciple. I don't know if that is considered professional or not but I guessing it will be solid and I actually plan on using the G&L L2500 for a lot of it to get a different feel then my Lulls. It will be a while BUT I'm sure I will share a track or two.

I presently own 5 G&L Tributes.....with #6 on the way. This one will be VERY VERY special. I bought a bass exactly like one I have......with the intent of it becoming highly modified. Late next week, the body is being shipped to Marty Bell for a special pant job. I have a replacement pickup on the way and a replacement pickguard to be ordered. I can't wait for this one to come together.

It's an LB100, so swapping the precision pickup doesn't seem too crazy.

I put an MFD in my LB100. I love it, though it's slightly different than my '87 SB1. Both are fantastic.

It's one of the most comfortable necks I've ever played.
Very worn in, too.
This bass is a player, for sure.

Its really interesting to hear you say that. I've often used a similar comparison with my L1505, but I don't know what neck it has.

Took my alnico pickup Wunkay to rehearsal yesterday.
Got the "don't you ever dare sell that one" from the bandleader. Have to admit it sounded dam fantastic.
