I liked it. I had a Geezer from another bass project, that's the only reason I swapped it out. I would have left the stock in if I didn't.How is the stock pickup?

OMG, where did you order it from? That's so awesome.View attachment 3551781
Ordered a brown tort guard for it.
Pickguard Planet/Chandler Music. Pretty sure they make the original guards for the G&L Bass guitars.OMG, where did you order it from? That's so awesome.
Just looked it up. I had only seen the natural and sunburst before, and those have dot inlays. Now I want one like yours! No. They are real inlay.
I got one of these arriving Friday, how’s the neck, is it chunky front to back or slim but wide, some specs say it’s a 1.75 nut other specs say it’s 1.58, which is it, some specs say it’s basswood others say it’s Ash???View attachment 3551781

How do you like it over all, is it heavy?
Thanks Man![]()
Mine is 9.3lbsHow do they weigh? Really digging the White with Blocks.
Thank you Sir, I’m excited! The specs I see says that it's swamp ash. 9.5 radius neck. Not chunky.
My particular bass has a 1.65 inch (42mm) width at the nut. It weighs 9.3 pounds exactly. Not heavy, but I do have lighter Precision bass guitars. Very comfortable to play for long periods of time. No neck dive. I think for the price it is one of the better deals out there. If you're a precision bass player, this can easily be a number one in the arsenal.
Wow! Looks great under lights too! How much did that brown tort cost you it looks very cool!!View attachment 3705835
Great bass for a 4 hour gig.
Yeah, these tort pick guards are not cheap. I paid $87 from Pickguard Planet. I see tort pick guards on eBay all the time for $13, but they are fake tort. And they would not fit a G&L.Wow! Looks great under lights too! How much did that brown tort cost you it looks very cool!!
It's an LED wash light. Bought it from Amazon for $30. Really makes our stage pop, because I also purchased one for our guitar player. I don't see the purple ones on Amazon anymore, only Amber colored now.speaking of the lights, mind if I ask what that is....looks great!

Yeah, that's a different brand then the one I ordered. When I clicked on my Amazon orders it only showed the amber now, but I'm sure that one will work too. Really makes the stages we play look more professional. You mean THIS purple one?

It appears identical to the amber one.
I really want one of these but it may be odd for our big band.Yeah, that's a different brand then the one I ordered. When I clicked on my Amazon orders it only showed the amber now, but I'm sure that one will work too. Really makes the stages we play look more professional.
