G&L LB-100 Tributes?

Thanks. The fret work is good. No fret sprout. The basses came setup quite well. Of course it pays to have a thorough setup after you get any bass. They are quickly becoming my go to basses.
Cool, thanks. What is the neck profile like? Is it standard p bass shape/size?

What do you people think about the general construction quality?

Has anyone come across one of these yet? There’s only a couple demos on YouTube and I haven’t seen any print reviews. I commented on this thread a while back stating I wasn’t a P bass fan, but I am today and would like some feedback from my TB friends if you have any.

I have a pair of them. I put an EMG Geezer in the sunburst one. They are well constructed and sound great.

I still have my LB-100 tribute! Best p-style bass for the price that I've ever tried! I think it is the G&L locking bridge that really does it for me, but the tone and quality of construction is very good and woods used on my bass look very nice. It really satisfied my limited desire to add a p-bass to my arsenal, without spending a ton of money. I can't imagine every really needing to upgrade from it.

I'm not familiar with the the Skylines or G&L Tribute.
I have seen that some of these off shore instruments are heavier than there US conterparts.
How does the tribute stack up against a US made, and a MIM Fender?
The Tributes are excellent. Every one I've tried, including their guitars has been really impressive. Besides the obvious cost reduction in being made overseas, there might be a few little corners cut here & there, but not enough for me to notice. I bought an '03, Korean-built L-2000 a few months ago, & it has become my #1. $285.00!
