I prefer PC gaming for everything that's not nintendo or "party gaming" (when you have people over)

Halo 4 was fun... Kind of disappointed me though. I know I'm in the minority that I play halo for the epic and difficult campaign modes... So I was hesitant after beating halo 3 in a week after it came out. ******* at gamestop assured me that halo 4 was "easily twice as long" as halo 3. I beat the game in two sittings.![]()
Personally, I think Halo 4 is the second best campaign in the series. I like Halo:CE the best, but Halo 4 is literally right next to it. Halo 2 still has the best multiplayer and maps, though...

Well that depends on how cutting edge you want to be with your system. A clan mate of mine has an SLI set up with two nVidia GTX670s (which are these Invalid Link Removed). So he's already spent, in video cards alone, how much it would cost to have a PS3, when it was bought new. He's also got a 512 gb SSD for his OS and his games, a $200+ mobo and a processor that's about $300 I think, etc. All told he's got north of $2,000 invested in his computer and peripherals. Now, that computer destroys pretty much everything that's out there today and doesn't look back, but in 3-4 years that computer's going to be about average.
Computer gaming CAN be very cost effective, but it can also be VERY expensive.
Eh, AGP was getting fazed out 8 years ago when I built my first computer. They were still around, and fairly common, but the PCI 2.0 bus was really starting to take hold then.
Do you actually know anyone who has a working PS3 or 360 that is seven years old though? IME they break down after a few years of use, and you can either send it in and pay sony or microsoft to fix your machine or you're screwed.
I don't think anyone will argue that PCs are the most cost effective platform for gaming, but I think the added benefits of a PC make it worth the extra couple bucks.
Also, you don't have to upgrade your entire system at the same time. A newer GPU in an older machine with decent specs will still spank any console in terms of performance.

Been playing a lot on Minecraft(PC). A lot. I wouldn't recommend it. Its a monumental timesink and may ruin your ability to interact with normal people. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go harvest my Zombie Trap and Spider spawner.
So I'm not the only one...
Zelda MM for the first time, it's not as good as OoT, not even close.
If you go into it expecting OoT, you will be disappointed. If you take it as its own standalone game that happens to loosely share the same universe as OoT, you'll be much better off. I really enjoyed it with all of its cool sidequests and whatnot, but
I love the atmosphere of the game. Very dark, melancholic and even disturbing at times, which comparatively leaves OoT vanilla feeling, imo.
I couldn't even really try to compare the two as they are very different in so many ways, and I couldn't even really say which I like more. I can understand why people may not like it, because it is a very, very strange game at times, but I just happen to be one of the people who adores it.
And being able to go back and defeat all the bosses repeatedly to your hearts content? Hell yeah.
Is it sad that I compare every game I've played since it came out to ocarina of time? I seriously still think it's possibly the greatest game ever made. Other than FFVII. ****, I'm starting to feel old.![]()
