Gamers, what are you playing these days?

Just finished Bioshock Infinite on PS3. Like all the Bioshock series it was fantastic and very well crafted. Wish I could have said the same for God of War Ascension.

Is it better than 2? If not, I might skip it. Bioshock 1 is in my top 10 favorite games of all time. The second one, however, left much to be desired.

Personally, I'm thinking about running through every Halo campaign over the next week or so.

Portal 2 is awesome, played it through ages back but recently started playing again with a friend through the co-op mode (which is also pretty awesome!).

I've got CS:GO but haven't played it much. Can't really put my finger on it, but it just seems cheap (which is odd seeing it's still just-use rifle on face- with lots of classic maps).

Yeah, I didn't like it at first either. But, I've gotta say. I really enjoy the fact that they finally built a deathmatch mode into the game as opposed to having to find mod servers. Really fun and chaotic.

I think Bioshock Infinite was a strong second to the first Bioshock -- a lot better than 2 but its hard to fully live up to the first one. As far as Ascension goes it was pretty glitchy and some of the camera angles get very frustrating. It will zoom way out to show the scene pieces but you can't see what you are doing. Then at the end there is a massive uptick in the difficulty level that is ridiculous. It RUINS the flow of the game. If you read some gamer forums that's all they talk about.

95% of the time, I love that game.

Though every now and again it seems to freak out and deems what was a clean landing as a reason to chuck you across the map.

Also a bit wierd that they removed some of the original goals from the maps.

I haven't had that happen yet, but for some reason the controls feel a bit wonky, but thats probably just the 360 controller's broken a$$ d-pad (trying to hold straight down to brake is extremely frustrating). I do miss all the original skaters too, Geoff Rowley was always my favorite, but thats a fairly minor gripe, and maybe I'm just getting old. But it's still fun times.

I just downloaded Dishonored from PSN two days ago, been playing that. I kinda like the idea of a game where the object is NOT to kill everything in sight.

Hmmmm sounds like you've gone soft.

Picked up Dead Island Riptide after thinking I'd pass after the critics review but apparently it was getting faced about at my local GameStop. All I can say tonight is "we'll see".
