The past couple of gigs our drummer has been REALLY stinking up the place. I mean, eye watering, cloying, stinking punch to the throat that I'm sure our audience can smell. We play at mid sized bars, so it's not like the audience is that far away. I tend to stand close to the drummer, so occasionally our singer gives me the stink eye, like it's my fault. It's not.
The drummer is a nice guy. I don't know him well enough to say "Dude. No." What to do? Get a fan?
. After the stench dissipated a bit, couple of ladies from the conga line come up to the front of the stage and glared at us
. Of course he thought it was funny. I told him it was so vile
that I almost puked. He thought that was funny too. I told him if he makes me puke, it's going on him
. He didn't think that was funny, especially when I made it clear I was serious
. Sheesh...you sound like my wife!
Or, if the concentration of gas is high enough, flick a lighter and literally fire the drummer!Uhm, nobody has suggested firing the drummer?

I'd spray him with Lysol between songs. The past couple of gigs our drummer has been REALLY stinking up the place.
