Genz Benz customer service...

...has gotta be the best I have ever encountered. I know it's been stated before but I don't think it can be reiterated enough.

I have a NeoX 212T which I've been using extensively for probably 6 years now. In the past one of the casters broke and Jeff Genzler kindly sent me a new one for free.

Last weekend one of the feet popped off in transit. I emailed their customer service today, got up from my desk, and made a two minute trip to the bathroom. By the time I came back I already had an email from Jeff Genzler asking for my address to send me replacement feet. That is INSANE! I've worked in QC for customer service at various places and that kind of speed is rare, let alone from the head honcho! Makes me almost regret not using that cab w/ a GB head...

You will not find better customer support than GENZ-BENZ
period.
For anyone looking for a new head/cab - I urge you to ask "what's it worth to have a company stand behind it's product and go to great lengths to make sure you're taken care of?"

Is Ampeg or Eden or (other) going to be there for you?

This is the sole reason i dished out the extra cash for the shuttlemax 12.0 rather than the ashdown lg1000. I know the genz is a better head but the the lg was so much cheaper. After reading time and time again about the customer service of genz benz i was all over it.

He asked me not to mention it... but AgedHorse gave me straight advice on my Eden WT550 when I couldn't get any answers from Eden via email or in the forums.

There. I said it.

The lack of forthright info from Eden astounds me. I would dig a cheap tube head but have strayed from the E300T as I worry about support if there is a problem. Same goes for Ampeg these days.

If GB would roll out a modern tube head, I'd be thrilled.

I do see a Shuttle replacing my LMII by the end of the year though!

Without pointing to my Church's power straight out of the gate - they helped me narrow down a DI problem to that in a methodical way. It was obvious to me that they were more interested in solving the problem than shifting the blame. Much appreciated.

BTW/ blew doors the other night with a VT Bass on the front end of the Shuttle 6.0. Just smokin'. It really gets along well with that tube front end.

However.... I had a second-hand head on the other side of the planet. I think US folk get a lot more attention so don't let my little story scare you off. They also appear to have got it together a bit more with their CS.

I want one of those Shuttle Max 12's so bad I can not stand it. Just can not afford it now though. I had played one a good bit recently and man is that a nice amp. If I had one it would become my only amp. Who needs another amp when that thang will punish and has tonal options galore?

The keeler Customer Service is just icing on the cake.:bassist:

Great... now I'll have a bunch of folks with "that other brand" trying to get the same kind of product support.;)

GB comes first of course.

Actually, it was really a basic general tech issue rather than something unique to Eden. I'm always willing to offer advice to forumites where I can, provided I have the time available. Roger has also helped folks out who have had interesting or unusual problems mostly related to an instrument or getting a particular tone. It's because we are players first.

hmm, I own a Neo-Pak and currently have long term use of a GBE 750, both are awesome, and since the excellent customer service has been discussed here over and over on TB, I don't think I'll buy anything else.

BTW when are you guys going to do a kick ass super lightweight reliable all-tube amp? I know y'all have the technology to make it better :bassist:

thanks all....for the wonderful comments. You've made my day.

Have a great 4th......and safe one too. :bassist:
No, thanks to you, Andy, Jeff, Scott, Denise, and anyone else there at Genz I haven't met. You guys have made my last two years! I can't express enough how nice it's been to have great, reliable gear that's on the cutting edge of technology along with top notch support to go with it.

I just posted a similar thread a few days ago about Aguilar's customer service. In a day when most people are worried about making a quick buck It's great to see this kind of attention to caring for the customer. That is the kind of business practice that really builds up a brand in the long run.
