This thread is like the Energizer Bunny.
I can safely say that the Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0 has settled nicely into being my one and only amp. I use it to run my Double Bass as well as my P-Basses. I really have no need for another amp, the Nine covers all. I might at some point want a second one but not because I think it's going to give me any trouble.
I agree with AH, I use a big cab or a small cab depending on the venue whether it is a loud outside gig or a small rehearsal. I just choose the size cab I need and the 9.0 does the rest.
IMHO you just can not beat or come close to the performance of the Shuttle 9.0. The tone, the features, size, weight, and amount of raw power on tap can not be equaled.
