can we get some live use feedback on the uber410 cabs , I use the 9.0 and am considering this cab , any info ? , thanks

I have gigged out with the Uber410 & Uber212, driven by the ShuttleMax12, and this is a really great rig!

There is definitely some vintage-esque warmth, but lots of articulation, and a very forceful tone (especially with that ShuttleMax12 - I bet the Shuttle 9.0 would kick, too).

Here is a link to some comparisons I made regarding the Uber410 and some of its competitors.

Tom.

Thanks Tom , I am having a hard time deciding on my next cab , the uber410 if definitely high on the list , I did play one at noisy namm , did like it allot , thanks for your input , helpful as always , I do have the 9.0 head and really like that ,

I needed some extra headroom for my 8ohm LDS 15/6 cab, so I sold my Shuttlemax 6.0 for a shuttle 9.0. Should be here tomorrow.

Just a note: before you buy used, check prices at Perfect Bass or Rocket Music. Both have sponsor forums here and both offer a discount code. Rocket gave me 10% off and free shipping. There are some people on this forum trying to sell used Shuttles for that much.

I finally got the opportunity to A/B my Shuttle 9.0 out with another and they were almost exactly the same, which leads me to believe my 9.0 is operating fine. I wanted to say a big thanks to GB for talking to me about this perceived issue and helping me work through it. Great customer service and product. Thanks again.

We're glad it worked out. Thanks for your business.

Another selling point to the shuttle 9.0. Bill Dickens was at my place last week testing my shuttle and LOVED it. Did a couple gigs over the weekend with one. Now he is going on tour with two of them. I told him how much I dug it and he wanted to try it out...put it thru its paces and all.

Currently my cab is a cheap Hartke Hydrive and I look to upgrade that to a 212 or uber 410. But the hydrive does sound really good with the shuttle..much better than my old sm900.

Been away from this thread for awhile....I've been playing the heck out of my Shuttle 9.0. It's funny how you think you might need an OD pedal here or a dist pedal there to improve the sound, then you turn all that off, and realize the 9 sounds pretty damn good on its own. Just scored a classic metal gig, and will be going up against a 50 watt Randall and 100 watt Engl....hoping my little black box hangs with those big boys!

I spent last evening in tone heaven. Between the room, my
Tyler 5, Epifani UL310, and 9.0, I was as happy as it gets.
Everything just seemed to work well together. Great synergy.

The sound person (a bassist) was just knocked out with the
rig. Fat, punchy, articulate. It made it easier to play, being
that happy with the sound. The 9.0 rocked!

Now I just have to learn how to play better. lol

Anyone need a rack kit for their shuutle 6.0 or 9.0?
I got sent a new one but do not need it. It is still in the box untouched. PM me if you need one. I thought I would hit you guys up here first before I list it.

Ha ha ha crazy man.

I have a gig scheduled this weekend in two different bands at the same festival. I go over to rehears with one band and the 8x10 Ampeg cab is packed up in the trailer. So we have this huge Yamaha 2x18 sub I ran my 9.0 into.

Oh my goodness. For kicks I set the master half way and engage the low end boost. This was earth shattering loud with massive low end. I had to turn the master down to one to rehears with it.

Can't wait!!!! In a few hours I start this crazy month + a week long tour ( dates keep getting added in ) and Ill be taking my shuttle 9.0 on the road with me. Its gonna be crazy. Im just so glad I dont have a 50lbs. rack anymore. Heck I don't even own a rack anymore.

Fun thing...the amp is so light if I set every thing at 5 and jam out..it moves around the cabinet....thats so awesome!!!!

To me the 9.0 is the S**T...
I'd like 2 of those ampsloaded in to my Max12.0:D

What would be more fun: the ShuttleMax 18.0, with 2 channels of 900 watts @ 4ohms, or the Shuttle 12.0, with a full 1200 watts into 4ohms in the same 4lb package as the Shuttle 6.0 and 9.0? I'm loving the 9.0 so much that I hardly see the need for even more headroom, but is there ever such thing as too much power?
