Those are some brootiful basses, man. And what a compact rig. I noticed a tuner in the last pic. It would be cool if the 9.0 had a built in tuner like the TC. I have one on the floor anyway, so not a huge deal, but would be nice for some grab and go action.

^ You know, I just love having the tuner input on the amp. Good enough for me (the tuner is actually there in all three pics :D). Most of the time I'm in cramped quarters, so trying to view a tuner on the amp itself would be difficult for me in any case. I'm still on the hunt for a cheap and durable back-lit tuner, but until then I'm okay. Probably also worth mentioning the aux-in on this amp (and other Shuttles). I've been the hero on a few gigs now where the client wanted to plug in an iPod. Also works great when you have to play the first set on the "veranda" and then quickly move back inside...running the keys and bass through the same amp makes for very quick transitions.

Nice. Me too.

I just loaded up my little 38 pound 2x10, along with my Shuttle 9.0, and my P Bass to go rehears with my Drummer. What an easy way to go play. You know these Micro Heads were designed with us old geezers in mind. :D:bassist:

I have a similar rig and it is very very potent.. i have the DB112s.. I think i liked the GS as you have.. gassing for uber210s though... maybe this summer.

Tried a search and couldn't find anything specific but I remember when the Shuttles first came out people were changing the "feet" of the heads for use with the NeoX-112T cab because the strap on top wouldn't allow it to sit level. This has been an issue with both my Shuttle 6.0 and now 9.0 and was wondering what ya'll used to elevate the Shuttles a bit more so they cleared the handle and sat level?

If you need to straddle a handle, some hardware stores have soft rubber stick on feet that you can stick on next to the stock feet, that way you don't change yours Shuttle. I have some that are about 3/8" tall that I can send you if that is tall enough.

The cab I'm using is the NeoX-112T so it just needs to clear the handle/strap, however tall that is. I'd measure it but cab and head are at practice space. So just go to hardware store and look for rubber stick-on feet? Oh and BTW, loving this amp and it's tone. Still playing with the input settings to determine what works best for me (seems different then my NeoPak) but i am very happy to do so :hyper:

I use these feet (the Tenderfoot ones) from Herbie's Audio Lab on my ShuttleMax and they do the trick really well:

They're a little close to audiophile tweak-type stuff for me, and are sort of expensive, but I like them a lot and they work really well.

How are those isobaric cabs tone wise...?
They look interesting. So small.yet handle huge amounts of watts.

Hi bass folks,

just regarding the colour of the 9.0's housing: I personally would have preferred the same colour scheme (typical G-B metallic look) as the one used for the other Shuttles, even it could be less well distiguished from the 6.0...

I was wondering this same thing! I have had mine for a few months now and absolutely love it. I am still on the hunt for the foot switch, then I will be set. Here are a few pics.

I recently bought a used GB 9.0 and loving it. I also had the new Ampeg 7 Pro and the same time. The Ampeg IMO does one tone well. Rock. I like that but I was looking for more versitility. Also, I believe the Ampeg (as usual) has inflated wattage specs.
