as long as it gets as cleanly loud as my sm900 did into an 8 ohm load. Im happy, or a 4 ohm load, if I change out my cab.

Anyone here paired their Shuttles with the new GB210t-ub or GB410t-ub cabs? I'm real curious about these cabs & the gas is starting to build, but damn they're pricey!
My Bag Ends seem to have taken on a different sound since going from a SWR 350 to the Shuttle 9.0. I've dialed in some good tones, but wonder if pairing with these new cabs is the ticket.

I tried the uber 212 and the 410 at the namm with the 9.0 , I do have the 9.0 and am familiar with the tone thru my cabs , bergintino and epifani , I totally loved the uber 410 , the 212 was great too but I just really loved the 410 , I was there early before it got loud as well , I will probably get the uber 410 , super tight and punchy , and can get super loud if needed , good stuff fer sure
Good to know, I'm not a fan of 12's myself, so which berg & epifani cabs do you have? I have bag end 210's, 410 & a 15, they're great cabs, but it might be time for a change. Thinkin my back would appreciate it too.

I've been using the 9.0 with a Berg AE210, Epi UL310. I still
haven't used it yet with my Berg HT112, Epi UL112, or UL110.
It seems to be a very versatile amp. I especially like it with
the UL310.

I don't own a 9.0--yet--but I did play one through the Uber 410 cabinet, and in a word, the sound was amazing.
It *really* made me wonder why I'm carting around the weight I am with my current rig--I was that impressed.
Yeah see, this is where I'm at also. That & my transportation has shrunk considerably, not to mention I'm gettin old & lazy lol!
I'm seriously considering selling all my Bag Ends & going lighter, that & it's about time for a change.
Is the uber line is there latest to hit the market, is that why it's a lil pricey right now?
I got to pair up the Shuttle 9.0 with a 4ohm SWR Marcus Miller Golight 4x10 tonight. Sounded great, plenty of volume for my gigs. I also trying going out the effects loop on the Shuttle 9.0 and into the return on my Trace Elliot AH350SMX (bypassing the preamp and using the power amp as a slave) and ran that to the 8ohm Golight 2x10 and that was pounding. I could barely get the volumes up before it was pummeling me in front of it. This arrangement gives me a setup for any occasion and volume to spare. No more weird EQing either, with these cabs I can run it flat with a little boost on the high end. I'm sure now the Ashdown cab was my issue, but no more. I traded it and some other stuff for the MM cab. This setup is sounding great.
Anyone driving a 8x10 or 2 4x10s with the Shuttle 9.0?

I'll be joining the 9.0 club soon, due to arrive Thursday and will get to put it through it's paces at rehearsal on Sunday. I'm pumped, now I just have to find a good deal on another used NeoX-112T and my rig will be complete!
Outstanding. I recently played through this exact combo at my local store and was really impressed. These two seem to be a great match - eHarmony couldn't have hooked them up more nicely.
FWIW, I am still absolutely in love with this amp. So much so that I'd happily use it even if it was bigger and heavier. As it is, the weight & footprint just make me giggle at every gig. If anyone is interested here are some clips. I just had a string of gigs where I used this head, a single Aggie GS112, and three different instruments. All recorded live with my M-Audio Microtrack 24/96.

Used my new Shuttle 9.0 at a gig for the first time on Saturday night, paired with an Acme Low B-2. The Shuttle's 500 watts at 8 ohms--a little less than I normally use with a Low B-2--was more than enough to bring the cabinet alive, with some room to spare. The tone was warm and clean with a big bottom end, just as I like it.
These are only my initial impressions and I'm a tube & lead sled guy at heart. But for my power needs and tone goals, the Shuttle 9.0 is the best small, lightweight head I've found. I expect it to see a lot of use in smaller and medium-sized venues and to regularly serve as a back up to its bigger, bulkier stablemates.

No kidding, I am really digging the Shuttle 9.0 + MM Golight cab. Rubbing me all kinds of right. I rarely use the TE and Golight 2x10 anymore.Outstanding. Nice. Dig the low B usage and smooth solo with the Roscoe. I'm looking at getting a recorder like that. Had been looking at the Zoom H4n. How do you like yours?
The Shuttle 9.0 has a 4 ohm load minimum. As long as you don't drop below that you should be fine. I think the ShuttleMax 12.0 can handle a pair of 4ohm cabs though in case you want to go that way.
Thanks, Jarrett! I love mine, but definitely go with the Zoom. Mine is now almost five years old, and IMO its replacement - the Microtrack II - falls behind the Zoom, especially for the money. I know a few folks who have the H4n, and they love it. More complicated than mine, but still intuitive for simple use.
Total +1. If you have two 4-ohm cabs, the MAX 12.0 is perfect. The only other consideration is if you really dig having the SS/tube pre channels. Beyond that, I can't speak highly enough about the 9.0.

Replaced my TF 550 with the Shuttle 9.0. The TF wasn't getting enough use after I got my LMII...and it was too good of an amp to let sit idle...my initial impressions of the 9.0...this lil' sucker's got balls...the bottom end just goes on and on...I love my Shuttle 3.0...but this beastie has stuff I hadn't felt in a long time...and seems tonally related to the 3.0, but has a depth and girth that I hadn't felt from a micro before. Through my pair of GS112s with 2512s I was being hammered in my chest without even straining the amp. One thing that I noted was that cone control on the low end was noticeably better than any of my recent heads could deliver. A big plus in that I can 'dig' and the cones don't get floppy.
I haven't gigged it yet...and it may be awhile, but my initial impressions are most favorable...it's a keeper.

^^I used to use GS112s with a thunderfunk too,, Sounded real nice but ran out of steam... My Shuttle 6 replaced the TF.. And now i have the Shuttle 9.. You are correct. The Shuttle 9 bottom goes on and on, yet its nice and tight.. And its a beast.... When i show up to a gig with this people just dont believe it wen it punches them in the chest... And other bass players have to try it for themselves... Really cool... Heading to Austin on Friday than back up to DFW and the Shuttle is flying in my gig bag... I couldn't do that with any other amp ..
Still just absolutely positively in love with my Shuttle 9.0. This is not subjective, it is the best Bass Guitar Amplifier ever built. Period.

Man I just love it when I read stuff like this, I really do. I can't wait for the day when I can say the same about an amp. And yes I have had two different 9.0s.
