with aircraft landing lights...

I ordered the special "LEO Edition." It helps me when I'm late to a gig...

I suspect a Streamliner Max 900 is someplace on the drawing boards........One channel set to face melt OD, the other to studio tube pre clean........

I want to add, that I still expect to get plenty of use from my time-tested Shuttle 6.0/12t combo. Most of the gigs I play can be very well serviced by that little workhorse. It is still (IMO) the most flexible, high performance combo I've seen. And my favorite amp for doubling on upright/electric bass.

This is good to hear. I have the same amp, and just today bought an EUB for doubling on my jazz quartet gig. If it's good enough for Ed, it has to be good enough for me.

I hope I'll have mine next week or the week after surely.

Thanx for the mini review Ed.

I'll not be parting with my 9.0 that is for sure. I used it yesterday at rehearsal, hooked to just a NEO 2x10. Man what that amp can do into a small 8 ohm cab. I feel almost sneaky being able to do that. There is definitely magic fairy dust inside the Shuttle 9.0.

I use the Shuttle 6 for my Acoustic uprite & use a BOSS switch box & find the Shuttle 6 mid freq sweep very handy for the uprite. Works really well for both basses. On par with my Mesa Walkabout for the good sound for both instruments.

Chain was- Acoustic uprite(realist pup)/ Alleva-Copollo EUT5 >
Shuttle 6 > Bergantino AE212.

I seriously doubt it.

IMO, they're sort of pushing the marketable envelope with the variety of models that they have now.

Great people, company, & bass products and I seriously wish them all good fortune, so I hope that no one takes the above statement as a negative comment.

@Jlepre - It was "A New Day Yesterday". I'm old school Tull.

Yes, I will be reviewing the Shuttle Max 9.2 as well, but right now I'm trying to focus on the Streamliner. I've been doing some reading, comparing specs... that's about as geeky as I get. But I've been hooking up different cabs, trying different basses, one person requested I show some upright...

I tried my two uprights though it, and found the wider low end profile made for a nice round thump. The gut string bass was awesome through it, it gave me the sound I want to hear from an old B-15. I think I'll stick to the Shuttle 6.0 for my jazz gigs though, I like the tamer sub frequency range, I can't get my Eddie Gomez licks to work with that stuff taking up space.
