I want to add, that I still expect to get plenty of use from my time-tested Shuttle 6.0/12t combo. Most of the gigs I play can be very well serviced by that little workhorse. It is still (IMO) the most flexible, high performance combo I've seen. And my favorite amp for doubling on upright/electric bass.
I suspect a Streamliner Max 900 is someplace on the drawing boards........One channel set to face melt OD, the other to studio tube pre clean........

This is good to hear. I have the same amp, and just today bought an EUB for doubling on my jazz quartet gig. If it's good enough for Ed, it has to be good enough for me.
