That is a great cab. We had a fun time playing through it and comparing it to a pair of BA210-3's and a pair of BA12-3's (one of them was an SLT). Different players through the same bass sounded very different through all of them (as you would expect) and there was no clear favorite Genzler rig. All of them were very compelling. The BA410-3 had the most low-mid presnece and was a little darker, and the two BA210-3's were more clear than the 410. The BA12-3's are perhaps the most balanced, and also very articulate. It's a great time to be a bass player!

We're using simple and smooth first order network purposefully to align the optimim frequency ranges of the 12" and how we want a seamless transition into the array. The result has been a very balanced response.

Thanks Jeff. Any plans to make this four ten design in an 8 ohm cab????? Sure would be cool, to be able to stack a 12" on top, and wind up with a 4 ohm load into the amp.

Well with the MG 800 you can use a BA12-3 on top and run at 2.67 ohms.

No plans for an 8 ohm version at this time.

Well with the MG 800 you can use a BA12-3 on top and run at 2.67 ohms.

No plans for an 8 ohm version at this time.

After what I heard at NAMM I find it amazing to think more SPL is needed than what that BA410-3 can achieve. A lot of the times we think in terms of conventional cabs and what we can hear on stage. The bass array concept changes that with the increased side dispersion - look at all those mid/high drivers! With a BA12-3 on top OMGoodness it would be loud!

Yeah, the 112t has that classic tweeter tone going on, but it's been refined better than any other cab I've played. Seriously, it's probably the best tweeter I've heard, so smooth that I can turn it all the way on and it won' get harsh even if you slap and pop with it all the way on. I always liked the bergantino neo lines, but didnt like the tweeters, so this cab was finally an answer to that, similar to a berg, but smoother tweeter. It's punchier than the 112-3 with a little less perceived low end (because of the low mid emphasis I would say)

The 112-3 Is a little darker sounding in comparison but has this wonderful voicing in the mids that comes out because of that. Bigger bottom end, still very punchy in its own right for sure.

Both of these cabs are the first 112 cabs I've played that can take a punishingly amount of low end boost and not give up or fart out.

They also mix quite well, I like using the 112t on top of one or two 112-3. They yin and yang just perfectly.

Alright owners of the Genzler 350 combo, I need to know your impressions of this combo and how it performs. Will it keep up in small church settings 40-60 people and at times a light touch drummer. Thinking of ordering a combo for my real light church gigs.

I haven’t tried it at a gig yet, but I’m going to say yes. It’s anazingly loud and full. I have a jazz quartet gig next Thursday - bass, light drums (kick, hat, snare, ride) guitar and keys. Amps but no PA or vocals. Just an easy load in and set up chill jazz standards thing. I can let you know after that how it works out.
