Genzler Amplification Club

I bought a cover for my 410-3.. It may not be on the site yet. I would call on the phone and ask.

So, I initially had plans to buy a BA12-3 STR to pair with my BA12-3 SLT, but I got curious today and conducted another cabinet(s) comparison.

I figured it would be interesting to pair/stack my BA12-3 on top of my Greenboy 12/6/1 and compare this set to my BA410-3. I set them up in my garage and, with no neighbors to really worry about, I was able to crank up the volume.

Both sets were loud and with a lot of clarity, but the BA12-3/Greenboy 12/6/1 stacked, although sounded great together, were really no match for the BA410-3, rated at 4 ohms @ 1000 watts! I don't think I'll need another BA12-3 either since paired with the Greenboy 12/6/1 they provide enough flexibility.

Thats some nice gear.. I have the 410-3 too.. It moves lots of air and doesn't get lose or farty. I know the fearxxx cabs get loud.. YOur 410-3 can keep up with that other stack

The BA12-3/Greenboy 12/6/1 sounded very nice, but not as thunderous as the BA410-3. A far better test would be with a band playing to hear which set pushes through the mix better, which I would suspect might be the stack! I did compare the BA21-3 to the Greenboy 12/6/1 and I actually liked the Greenboy more, although the BA12-3 is 14 lbs. lighter and has slightly tighter sound.

Yes.. I've had my 410-3 on about 20 gigs so far... EVERYONE that has heard it thinks it sits in a mix great but also CUT through in a mix..
Very even from top to bottom .. It takes EQ very well. Slight movements of the Mid EQ are noticeable.. I don't have to make extreme cuts or boosts if I don't want to.
Im doing about 7 different bands right now..

One band that i was Subbing for has a bass player with a Bergantino 610..
They told me they thought my 410 3 did what his berg 610 does and maybe better..
I wasn't even asking.. .
I Know they are TWO very different animals..
AND I didn't do any A/B listening .
I was just going on what they told me,

But I am sold on this cab.. Its Small. fairly lightweight and gets the job done.

I've yet to use my 410-3 on a gig. I did take the 12-3 to my Friday gig, where usually the Greenboy gets the nod, and I felt it got a little lost in the mix with keys and sax in the PA, with drums, electric guitar and vocals. It's a small venue and it was the first time with the added EG. I'm going back with the Greenboy to see how it functions.
