Oh and speaking of the front baffle, any chance of custom colors? I've always liked the look of the Vanderkley stuff with the red baffle behind the black grill. I've also seen some pretty cool blue and green stuff too. Thoughts on this Jeff G?

Does anyone have any info on the dispersion pattern of the BA-10? Just curious.

Not the BA10-2, but we did measure the on and off-axis (15, 30 and 45 degrees) frequency response of the BA12-3. Please note, this does require a Bass Gear Premium subscription to view.

The Padded Carry Bag for the 350 Combo arrived this morning (Thanks, @Jeff Genzler!). The combo with amp attached fits perfectly and with it face down, it's a lot easier to lift out and set it back in. So I think I'll just leave the two joined as one unit.

Right!! And IMO, too much padding to just carry the cabinet and then something else padded for the amp.

My rig for tonight. First gig with the MG-800. Friday I will do the dual cab setup. And, Saturday with this same rig. We are using IEMs and the bass sounds so punchy and clear. Dig it!

Well I played the Magellan through a pair of 12-3 today. Pretty amazing. I bought the head, and cabs are on order (they only had older demos that have the side handles). Hope I get them quick! Very excited!

Nice rig for sure. Why would you use in ears with a rig that big?

We use IEMs on 95% of our shows. We play large theaters and clubs mostly and have a moderate stage volume. So IEMs are used so the sound and vocals don’t get lost on these big stages. We don’t use wedges at all. Tomorrow’s rig will be even bigger!!!

Not sure I'd bother taking a rig if the whole band is using IEM's. Just go to the board and and have your own mix in the ears.

That's one of the big reasons (in my opinion) to go IEM - no rig to haul. That and my ears don't ring after a gig.
