Yes it is.
They mesh very well together. With the Magellan 800 the notes were coming out very weighty. I often wonder if the BA12-3 is sort of similarish to the UBER Quad as they are both known to be smooth in the mids?

I use a pair of UBER Quads for larger gigs, just amazing. i know it would be too big (in size) for the current trending market, but an UBER Quad-3 would be a killer enclosure.

Hey, I see you use 2 QUADS and the Streamliner 900. I bet that sounds great. I know my Streamliner sounds awesome with the QUAD and UBER 115 as did the Magellan 800 on Friday. I still wonder if the BA12-3 sounds similarish as that would be such an easier schlep.

To answer that question, I did sime comparisons early on. The Uber Quad is a much larger cab than the BA12-3 design but surprisingly the BA has more depth. The Quad does have this 3 dimensional thing going on but the BA has a smoother mid range with greater dispersion overall and maybe a little louder.

Oh wow, thanks for that. Smaller, more depth and greater dispersion is good. Although the UBER QUAD is already very smooth and has that 3D thing going on so I am not sure if smoother is actually better. Of course this is said without me even trying it. Something to consider since easy and light is a good thing and they are designed to go with the Magellan.

Edit: That's funny, I would of thought the BA12-3 would have that 3D thing going on as well the way it looks. Interesting.
