@3bc Thanks for the info! That is a 2006 Thumb “Dirty Blonde” Limited. One of the specials they do every year. Love it, light as heck and punchy as heck.

Don’t mind the flannel, it’s hiding my Hartke lol.
Out of 448 persons on this board at the moment - I had to read this? Now I'll have to turn my life around.
Oh wait, I have an MG 800 - already, on my way to redemption!
What is the top?
Thumb has always been on my wishlist, but I don’t know if I’ll ever get around to it after becoming a recent lakland convert.

Well got the whole rig going now, I guess it’s official! Don’t mind the flannel, it’s hiding my Hartke lol. Guess I need a number? Got to mess with it for an hour or so, but need to rearrange the room so I am not sitting on top of it. Gonna try tomorrow with the slant on the bottom. Guys with active basses, do you even bother with the pad button? Didn’t seem to clip when I tried the basses without it.
I haven't posted a rig pic in a while.
My 410-3 was on its way home so this is the 212

I do pad my Spector, mostly because when I switch back to my P bass I don’t have to change anything else.View attachment 3353986

Question: for those of you playing heavier stuff and you want some more grit in your tone than what the 800 offers, what's your favorite? Darkglass? Which one? Would love to hear what you all think is a good match/complement for the 800 in terms of tone. Just looking for some more growl and nasty.
TIA!
I see what you did there...uber nice
I posted these pics on another thread, bit think they totally need to be posted on here as well. Last nights gig rig was something a little old and something a little new:
