So I have a 15-3 and 210-3, both SLT versions (the 15 is only SLT). Am I giving up anything by stacking two SLTs rather than the straight 210 on the 15? Asking for a friend. And the friend is me.

So intrigued about the NU Classic cabs (nu-curious?)...I like that they are tall and narrow. I have a couple of Phil Jones 4x5s that may not be long for this world. Jeff, please don't send any to Bananas-at-Large or I may have to try them!

@dwellers ----- I know there are many options when it comes to cabs and versions of cabs. I don't think you have any concerns about using 2 SLT cabs stack on top of each other. But there is a little test you could do to see if changing the "plane" of the BA210-3SLT baffle makes any big difference. You could use something small to place under the back end of the BA210-3SLT so that the baffle tips forward and eventually aligns in the same slant as the bottom BA15-3SLT cab. I don't see that this would be an unstable thing to try out. If you like it you could play it that way if you choose.
About the NC (Nu CURIOUS) cabs ---- I like that. These are totally different cab designs and as such offer a vastly different response than the BA's. Kind of Old school vs new dude cabinet designs. I think in some of Andy Irvine's comments in his videos, he really nails it that you can really "work" these Nu CLASSIC cabs and with your technique you can "finesse" them with tightness, clarity and then some grunt and character when you dig in, etc. Where the Bass Array is really all about totally accurate reproduction and then the benefits of the tonal width and projection in live settings.

That nuclassic sounds like it'll give me more of a thickness than the BA?

IME/IMHO, nope. Two SLT cabs is a totally legit and awesome rig.

Also eager to hear your report. I was just going to get a second MG12T-V (not that I've needed it so far) but perhaps the NC-210T might cover more gigs (than a single MG12T-V) as a one cab solution. And, the vertical format is a winner in my book.

But you can't mount your head on the NU cabs. I wish they had that option. I don't know that I'll ever have a gig where my MG350/12T-V won't be enough, but I think I'd get a 2nd if I needed more as I really like it.

Whelp, I guess it’s now time to go and list all my other amps and cabs. I am so late to the BA game and just can’t believe my ears and how this rig combining the BA15-3 SLT with a BA210-3 just punches so hard! I could make a snarky comment about how Sweet Home Alabama will never sound better but this rig makes ME want to play better…as silly as that sounds.

And it sounds absolutely great no matter where I am in relation to the cabs. It doesn’t muffle or sound different when I move off axis. Just incredible.

I can’t wait to play a full band gig. Between this and the two 12T-V’s, I believe I’m firmly covered across the board for gigging.

Although a Genzler preamp for those DI gigs would be nice!

@Jamvan ---- so glad to hear you've also discovered what so many players find when they come over to the Bass Array cabs. And you've got an excellent rig to experience all of what the BA's offer. I have been asking for a tube DI or even better a tube amp. I am loving my 12T-V for the few times a year I use an amp. I use a REDDI for my DI work and would love to see a Genzler DI (tube maybe) or even a tube head like the old Streamliner.

I've gigged the MG350/12T-V three times in the last week and I do appreciate the "combo" feature during load-in and load-out. Tonight I'll be using the combo outside for the first time. I have no doubt that it will perform. The band is me on electric bass, two amplified acoustic guitars, and only vocals through a Bose PA.

I use this amp with a tasteful drummer, vibes and tasteful guitar. Outside. It's plenty.
I think the MG350/12 T-V is easier to move/carry than the MG350/BA10-2.

Our stage this past weekend.....you can see my rig a few posts back and get a bigger picture of how things looked here. There were a few times I walked over in front of the BL's 'twin sisters' rig that he had cranked and I could still hear my bass over there while standing in front of them. Obviously it wasn't as clear etc as being right in front of it but I was still impressed with what clarity/volume I had while being that far off to the side of it. And believe me, I had plenty of volume in reserve had I needed it! Any of my older 4X10's and I wouldn't have had a clue how it sounded wandering out over there!

I gotta say, it sure looks great to see a nice big live music stage, ready to be put to good use!! Looks like a nice outdoor venue. Thanks for sharing. Is that a light at the end of this tunnel?

These Nu Classic cabs look nice! Decent price, vertical format, decent weight and ferrite/ceramic speakers; reminds me alot of the Tecamp/Eich which are similar dimensions/weight/wattage and also use ferrite/ceramic speakers. I look forward to seeing more reviews!
