I had a couple of 12s but the 15 is just low end heaven to me. There's something about the air it moves that just feels bass to me. Hard to describe but the 12s are great, don't get me wrong. They just aren't 15. I love the 15 with my 210.

I have to apologize if this has been asked.
I have a couple questions:
1)Has anyone coupled the Array cabs- 10-2, 12-3 and 15-3. Seems like you would get the benefit of each size and would also give you lots of combinations and choices for different venues?
2)if I set 3 slants on top of each other, will the head still sit securely on the top?

1) I’ve done 12-3 and 15-3. With excellent results for country. I don’t have 210, but a 410. 410 plus 12-3 is an ideal Rock stack. But I’m sure your stack of Genzler doom would work great.
2). You would want support under the feet of your head (such as drawer liner) and loop the speaker cables to that if it does “travel” it doesn’t go to the floor.

I have the 10-2 and 12-3 and they work great together. But I want to just point out that the only way to truly test out the 10-12-15 combo would be to put it against a stack of 3 12-3 or something like that. You get such a change in sound between one cab on the ground, one lifted up, and two stacked together, you wouldn’t really be able to tell if the stack you’re referring to sounds good because it’s three different cabs or because they’re just stacked high.

I currently have 3 12-3's and I do love it. Just thought maybe the 15 would add some more bottom and the 10 a little more clarity. I'm not saying the 3 12-3's lack any of that... Mostly just curious if anybody had tried that.

Anyone do any extreme EQ moves on the Magellan? I've been running treble and mids at 3k at 0 for the last little bit and it sounds more normal/flat with this setup than it has any right to. I finally kicked the contour B addiction and play with contour off now, probably because I have something else to roll off highs without giving me the sealed cab effect.

Not too surprised since 95% of the waveform is likely below 2k…

also is it possible that your basses pre somehow got the treble maxed out?
It’s an active pre right?

Been using a passive jazz bass and an active PJ with just a bass control recently and not the Dingwall in my profile pic. Even then I mostly played with it passive before I sent it off.

I like to run the boost switch on the Darkglass B7k which is definitely the culprit but I like the way it distorts the highs so much that I'm willing to compromise to a wonky EQ section. This sound isn't bad at all and I like it quite a lot, just a departure from how I'm used to running the amp EQ. I used to use the boost switch in the past and I swear it was never like this so either its the NYXLs or my ears have gotten better haha.

Not a big difference volume wise but definitely more low end to be had. I do prefer the 210-3 but like the big bottom the 15-3 delivers!

Yup! I still got them. But, we added a sax/percussion player to the band so not using them live much.
