Couldn’t you run eight of the 12’s? I would like to play through such, at least once. Never tried more than 3.
I'd have to check the impedance on the Crest. Also, my wife would kill me.

Ok that made me laugh! It's actually helpful though knowing what the Crest can fully do with the Genzlers - I've been meaning to look it up. Reassuring to know that if I ever get the call to play at Wembley, I'll be ready!
I will add - my "big rig" of the last 11 years or so has been the Crest with a pair of mirror-baffle Fearful 15/6s, absolutely gigantic and open in terms of sound, relatively lightweight, huge bottom end. Unfortunately, they are kind of impractical for home playing. The smaller footprint of the Genzlers is nice, but the vertical matched baffle array philosophy is the same as the Fearfuls. I really like the wedge design as well - especially being 6'5", it's nice that my knees aren't the only thing that gets to enjoy my bass.

This Genzler Big Rig shakes stages like crazy!!! Those of you that have it knows what I’m talking about!
9- 10 o'clock is a good spot for both contours.
That's where I was running it as well on my drive channel. Was curious as well what genres/situations its good for as this is the first piece of gear I've had where the mid scoop isn't extreme and is pleasant sounding to me.
i usually set the blue contour (is that A?) nearly straight up for a P bass with flats and around 9 to 11 o’clock for a jazz bass with rounds.
Depends - for slap or running the bridge pickup noon to 3 o’clock is great. Just neck pup 10-noon seems to be my sweet spot. Running both pups 9-11 seems about right…
each of my basses is different… onstage typically 9-11 and leave it there.
Interesting to hear the different settings.....I also have a Tecamp Puma 900. This amp has a very nice preamp section, probably one of the best I have heard, I compared it directly to the MG 800, and noticied that if I run the countour at 11, and take the treble to 10, and the mid freguency to 10, I can almost replicate the same sound as the Puma with everything dialed at noon.
