Genzler Amplification Club

Thx. Bottom is in series and slaving off the middle. Toggled to 2.67. Any issues at all with power fade when running b*lls out and after the rig is warmed up? I wouldn’t expect so, just asking out of curiosity.
It’s not in series - all parallel no matter how you plug them in.

ohm load is 2.67 and they all get the same power.

Nice bass!
Yes, thank you. The Music Man Caprice that is a pretty unique beast. Very comfortable, good tones and well made. Might have to sell to make room soon but I really like the sound I get with the Genzler gear. Heck, I like everything through a Genzler!

Genzler crash box and 4otF fully integrated on the pedalboard! Just finished rewiring last night. They sound great. Going for a true ampless setup.

Can you share some of your 4 on the Floor and Crash Box settings?

My band had a weeknight gig playing at the beer garden at our local county fair. We had a record-setting night, and sold out of beer twice (having restocked after the first sellout). Great night, nice stage, and my first time taking the Genzler Nu Classic cabs out on a gig (2x10 and 1x15). They are slightly differently voiced than the BA cabs, but with a few minor tweaks on the MG-800, I had my tone dialed in and they sounded great!

Here's a better look at the basses (in addition to the NS NXT4a): Lull MV4, Nordy vJ5, Drake Model 10.

Some more shots of the stage (before the crowd arrived).

looks epic! How do you characterize the difference in sound from the BA series?

so far I feel that my BA cabs with the Mesa WD 800 are a little crunchy in the mids for slapping but other than that I love them. I’ve been experimenting with cutting around 2k.

Nice. Glad to see the basses too.
You have no idea how much sh*t I get when I rack the basses before gigs: A Dingwall NG3, Tobias 435 Super4, Sadowsky 4-24 PJ and Fender Tony Franklin fretless with Stonewalls.

Yes, with all respect I know Mr. Sklar brings just one bass to shows but the projects I’m in play everything from Respect by Aretha to Uptown Funk to Gaga. And even with all the prep and pre-show checks I’ve had basses fail me during shows so an extra is a good idea. Love that NS and all things Ned, I rock a CR Radius 4.

Trivia: All the Spector “NS” basses are Ned’s design too.
