Looks like you also removed the feet. That dual-lock stuff is what we use to keep cloth speaker grilles frames in place on several of our cabs. Great stuff.

PSA: Check to make sure your gear is functioning before loading your vehicle.

Was planning on using my Genzler Magellan 350 with my Fender Rumble 210 cabinet for a gig yesterday, but the Genzler gave up the ghost. It has been sitting in a case, not being used, for several months. I was about to load it in my vehicle, when I decided I would make sure everything worked. Plugged everything up, played a note....nothing. Kept playing notes....nothing....then a couple notes came through....then nothing. I swapped speakon cables, same behavior. I tried running a working speakon to 1/4 adapter and running a 1/4 speaker cable to the other jack on the cabinet...nothing. I tried 3 different basses. Same thing. Then, I swapped out to my Carvin BX250 and it worked. So the cabinet and the jack is not to blame. I used that cabinet flawlessly for the gig.

I am REEEEEEEEEEALLY bummed because the Genzler was my favorite head. I've had it for a few years and while I don't gig much, it is my favorite to use. I can't imagine why it stopped working. I'm going to try out every cable I've got to see if the cable (or adapter) is to blame.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I ended up using my Genzler Magellan Preamp Pedal through my Carvin BX250. So....I was able to sprinkle some Genzler goodness into my tone.

How many of you use an amp stand for your Bass Array cabs? I use two 12s and have discovered that they sound infinitely better when they are much closer to ear level. This is the nature of a line array, which has excellent horizontal dispersion but not such great vertical dispersion, which is a good thing. I've been improvising at gigs to get everything up there, using monitors on their side, weird tables, etc., but it would be nice to have something I could use consistently.

Generally, it doesn't bother me so much since I generally use IEMS, but when I backline my rig (which everyone loves), it really helps.

Gotta say, these two cabs with my new to me MG800 are ferocious. Big step up in authority from the MG350 (although that certainly doesn't suck).

I used one when I had a singular BA12 to great effect. For bigger venues I use two BA12's and keep them on the floor. If the stage is wood I almomst always need something in between to from coupling with the stage.

Check to see if your speaker cables have genuine Neutrik connectors. There are many knock off Speakon connectors that can be unreliable and may even damage your amp or speaker connectors.

Yup 1000x. In all my years of buying gear I have never come across the kind of service and attention paid to both users and potential users that I have seen here from both Jeff and Andy. I wish I'd found the brand and it's Genz Benz predecessor many years before I did but it is the only bass rig I will own now.

Also be sure they are the right type of speakon. There are two types - one with two connectors and one with 4(I believe)

Both NL2 and NL4 will work fine, be sure to use cables with genuine Neutrik brand plugs. The knockoff plugs can be problematic as well as damaging g the mating jacks.

The first thing I thought of was possibly the power cord is not completely seated at the rear of the amp and causing intermittent issues.

I always use a stand. Keeps my cabs off of the mud, dirt, gravel, sand and weeds when playing in “the wild”, and raises them up for better hearing on whatever stage I’m using. It’s very nice to have consistency, and I can use this setup with one or two cabs. I sometimes will also add a rigid black foam chunk (about 2” in height) under the front edge of the cab to get a better tilt toward my hearing parts, but don’t need the foam for most situations unless I’m stuck playing in a very tiny space that points my speakers to the back of my legs. I use a Maxworks 80773 which is extremely sturdy and folds up. I painted mine flat black, and it looks good on stage.

I use a stand for my BA210-3. It’s called a BA2-410-3! OK, sorry…nothing to see here.

I have been enjoying some time off before we kick off 2 shows on NYE in NJ.
