I own both versions (1 & 2) of the BA410-3. I have not tried the BA212-3.
If your looking for a single cab solution with quick response, definition and a nice bottom end, the BA410-3 is hands down my suggestion.

I am a 5 string player and the BA410-3 gives a nice deep response, smooth mids and a nice clear top end that is never harsh. The dispersion of this cab fills the stage.

The BA212-3 will definitely be deeper in the lows but still tight. I believe the mids and high end is a little smoother providing a warmer tone than the BA410-3. Still providing the great dispersion from the array.

Been playing around with my amps to try and match tones to my WD-800 as that is what I keep going back to, especially in a live band settings. Thought I'd share a family photo (not included, Genzler Kinetix 800). All these including the vintage Bassman 50 behind them get played through various combinations of 3 x the Genzler Bass Array 10-2-SERIES 2.

I had the Kinetix 800 and Mess 800D at the same time. Eventually chose the Kinetix because I preferred its tone options, damping factor, and form factor. Look at them: the 800D is huge! Plus it didn’t fit in the case easily, and the Kinetix case was better made. The 800D sounds nice but I don’t miss it at all.

Interesting. On your Magellan 350 I take it you use the blue contour channel?

@Lammchop93 -- I can add perspective from the design side of these 2 cabs. The BA2-410-3 is a brute-force cab with big output and the punch of those 4x10" drivers in the lower mid to low end spectrum. The BA2-212-3 will have a bigger fullness in the bottom and will deliver more depth down low. I feel the mids are more prevalent on the 410 cab. Both cabs have the same line array so the upper mids and highs will "technically" be the same but they do feel different with the BA2-212-3 feeling like there is more seperation from the lower mids to the upper end --- mostly because the 12" drivers have a different mid voice than the 4x10's working together.
Hope this adds something to your interest.

Thank you Jeff! Would you say the 212 has more enveloping low end and the 410 is more punch? Hard to describe what I am asking, but I think that’s the best way to say it.

Yes, that is what I was referencing with my brute force comment. The 2x12 has more dimension from the lowest frequencies through the upper mids and highs. The Line Array seperates itself a little more from the woofers in this model. And yes, the lows would feel more "enveloping", which is a good adjective.

The 212 sounds more like what I'm after compared to the 410. Thanks for the feedback. If I can swing it I'd like a 115/112 Bass Array pair, but for a single cab the 212 looks like a banger.

In your estimation would there be much real world difference between the 212 in that particular enclosurer compared to a 2x112 (or in my case 112/115) stack? Always appreciated, Jeff.

If you're able to try them out first I'd give that a go. What I love about my BA410 is with some tweaks to the EQ I can get that cab as deep as I'd never need it but it also has a great overall sound with my EQ flat on my MG800 with a little dash of contour. I actually ended up cutting some of the low end at last nights gig the cab was sounding so deep. I'd imagine if you went with the 12/15 stack you'd get a nice mix of punch from the 12 and depth from the 115. I'm a fan of 'one cab to do it all' so my 410 has me covered. Sounded great on this weekends shows! Keep us posted on what setup you're going with....I doubt you'll be disappointed with whatever you choose.

Thank you for that. I have no doubt that either of "big" cabs would be more than enough for any gig I'll do. Unless I come across an outstanding used deal I'd probably go with a single cab.I'm trying to get as FRFR as possible with my next cab(s) with great projection across the stage (which was another reason for stacking 2 cabs to raise the height). I think it may have been you that stated your 410 projected better than any cab you've played? I've never had great experiences with tweeter loaded cabs, but have when a separate mid driver is implemented well hence my extreme interest in the BA line.

I'm not qualified to say what cabinet is FRFR and which one is not, but I feel like my 410 has a pretty balanced sound to it. I always place mine on a Grammapad and the back feet just hang off the back which gives the cab a slight angle up so maybe that helps.....but I've never had any issues hearing what's coming out of the cab even when keeping the volume kind of low in a somewhat loud gigging situation. If you look at my photos above, you'll see the master volume on my MG 800 was only around 9 o clock. I chalk that up to the great design. I do talk about the dispersion vs other cabs I've owned....I've had Peavey, SWR, Eden, Ampeg, Euphonic Audio, GK, Mesa and I'm sure I'm missing one or two. This cab tops them all IMO. My bands use floor wedges (old school :smug: ) and I can walk around the stage and still hear plenty of bass even when I'm way out of the direct line of the cab. The band guys are used to it now after years of gigging together but on occasion I'll use provided backline and most of the time the guys will need to have some bass added to the wedges when that happens. That almost never happens when using the BA cab unless we are on the biggest of stages which is rare. Hope this helps and feel free to reach out with any other questions.
