here's a vertical 3X12. Apologies for the Carvin on top but this rig needs 2 ohms and I didn't have a Genz Benz that could do that. I can't take the volume over 3 without risking structural damage to the building. That's a Mike Lull on the right with a P neck and J pups.
How about a back-ported vertical 4x10 with glide rails on the side?
Maybe a builtin handle & casters?
Tall enough that you can see the writing on your amp without bending over.
Tall enough to put the speaker near your ear.
Only needs to be 12" or so wide due to the ports being in the back, so it has a small footprint for small stages.
Glide rails on the side so you can just tip it and slide it into the van/SUV.
Set another one next to it with the tweeters turned off for an 8x10 rig.

OK, just one more note of appreciation on Genz Benz gear ... the Shuttle 3.0-10T - great amp for jazz gigs with upright or fretless, and also a great practice amp for straight electric gigs. Pictured here with a '78 Fender fretless.
Echoing the kudos for the 3.0-10T, which has been a great grab and go amp for rehearsals and small settings.

I say this based on short ownership of a shuttlemax 12.2 and current ownership of a 6.2, a 3.0 and a 500 Contour combo, which is an incredible unit, even at the original price point.

Rock on Jeff!!! My Shuttle 9.0 is the best amp I've ever used, and I've always maintained that Genz Benz make/made the best amps on the market..... and the best value for money too!! (where else can you get 900 watts in a top-quality lightweight head for under $1500?)
