Woah.....nice pics H. Did my first new years gig in a while last night. Went well, didn't fall down or muck up things too bad. Only two 45 min sets & I was home by midnight(she who must be obeyed liked that). So here I sit at 6:15 waiting to fall asleep..not happening.

During the break the guys were sharing " you know how many guitarists, soundmen, etc etc it takes to change a lightbulb" jokes so I made one up for us

"You know how many bass players it takes to change a light bulb? None, we like the dark" Kinda proud of that one

Happy New Year everyone. 2014???? Holy crap we're getting older!

ust managed to wake up above the dirt. This is enough work for a grumpy old fart for one day. So I'm gonna grab my bass and make my neighbours listen. They woke me up at midnight with fireworks. So here comes the payback. Get yourseld some Aspirin! :D

Stay grumpy! Happy new year to everybody!

Not that I'm an old fart, but this is me with my first bass. A Kay 1960 or 1961. The picture was taken around 1962.

My first real band. That's me on the right with the Gibson acoustic. Note the old Silvertone bass amp I'm playing through. I played bass until we got a guy that had better bass gear.

those are outstanding pics. I love them.

I'm 62. Playing since'67. Now with 5 basses and 4 Ampegs. Only things left that make me feel good.

Happy New Year my axe. Gimme a number.

Happy 2014 you old Farts! First new year's eve in can't remember how long I was not gigging. The universe has it's ways though, gettin to old to be out in the cold when a bug gets a hold of ya. Lead singer is still catching heck for taking a singles gig though, dang kids.

Most of the stuff I've owned over the years.

My first "real" bass amp...
