Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

Based on witnessing my relative after surgury of one knee, I suggest do one knee at a time. You can't be lame in both knees and still get around. Too much risk of poor healing.

It seems to be common to do both knees at once from what I’ve seen. Perhaps if you have one good and one bad, you favor the good leg and it hinders recovery of the other. Most prefer to get it over with in one shot.

One advantage to being older is you can do all sorts of stuff, like act like a fool, talk to yourself in public. etc. and the "others" just look and say, "These old farts! Get 'em off our lawns!"

We can get away with things the younguns' can't. :hyper:
My son picked an old Cadillac Fleetwood as his first car for that very reason. Figured experienced drivers would stay out of his way or give him a pass.

Sad but true.... and even 3 year olds aren't interested in anything that doesn't involve a touch screen.

This Christmas it was the wireless VR that all the kids were vying to use. But the next best thing to playing with virtual objects was playing with the person wearing the VR goggles, and handsets, who couldn't see you! :roflmao: Dang! Another missed video opportunity.

Friend of mine claims he can already predict every single thing that will happen next year...says he has 2020 vision.

nevermind...I'm going.

in our house, we call those “Bampaw” jokes. I tell the grandkids really dumb jokes and they just roll their eyes.

We have one more grandkid on the way so I will have a new audience who won’t hate my jokes for 4 years or so.

BTW, the name Bampaw came from my eldest granddaughter. When she was 2-3, she had a minor speech impediment. She tried to say Grandpa but it came out as Bampaw and it stuck.
