Bang is a considerably better word for ! than "exclamation point".
Quick, throw me your NR T-Bird! I'll save it...............uh, l mean, you..............

My God, what did we ever do before the internet?
This just made me smile.
Seems to me when I got this body new there was a lifetime warranty included. Except what I believed "lifetime warranty" to be wasn't exactly as imagined. Sounds good on paper ....
A card index and actual bound books. Weird, innit?
Fabulous actor, and man, what a run! We should all be so lucky to hit 103. RIP, Kirk Douglas.RIP Mr. Douglas. You were one of my childhood heroes. There aren't many real Hollywood heroes anymore.

Hoping the surgery works out well for you. Yeah, I had a lifetime warranty but I think that only covers basic functions like breathing, heartbeat, etc., and nowhere in the fine print does it say these functions are warranted to peak performance. I'm still achy from my fall three days ago but I guess I should just shut up and be glad it wasn't worse! And in the proper spirit of a Thursday - a day too lame to be a Friday and too indistinct to be a Monday - off to the vascular unit at the horse pistol this morning. They're measuring the blood flow in my foot for that surgery later this month. Kind of easier to see here in the fuzzy slippers (that Odin enjoys stealing) how that part of the ankle is just collapsed. No wonder it hurts

There is truth in that.Trouble is, we're outliving our lifetimes......
Roy saved Deckard's life because they were friends. Deckard's memories are truly lost, like tears...in the rain. Humanity = Memory: ... By saving a witness of his life in Deckard, he saves some of his memories, and therefore some of his humanity from death.
Hey, we proudly used our wall-mount dial phone that was in the studio! (Oh wait, we're not supposed to use exclamation marks anymore, right?)A card index and actual bound books. Weird, innit? Weird like dial telephones.
This just made me smile.
Back in the day, I used to work in a 'phone company central office.
There were handsets with long curly cods all over the place, as well as an ample supply of small tie wraps and side cutters.
Our favourite prank was to tie the handset end of the cord to the other end, about an inch from the body of the phone.
If you arranged the cord just right, the tie wrap was invisible. All that remained was to hide around the corner, and wait for the fun to start.
If the next guy to grab a call at that station was in a hurry, he could quite easily get the body of the phone a foot off the desk before he realized what was happening. The look on their faces never got old...
