Ford had the 300 I6 that was fuel injected and electronic ignition, another really good motor.I still got one in my 99 Jeep GKStill easy to work on, and in a lot of ways easier than the old I6 with plug wires. Evolved from the Nash 232, onto AMC 256, then FI 4.0L, a few cc's smaller, but more torque and HP. 250K mile engine. Murdered for a V6 by Chrystler.
