Sadly I'm sending back the new Peavey MiniMax. It just didn't produce the tone I wanted, and more importantly, the fan was so dang loud. I mean noisy loud. I talked to a guy at Peavey and he said that the design was to have them run high to keep them cool. They haven't figured as far as GK I guess. I have an MB200 that's been very faithful to me the last year, it's done some good shows and now with my new AudioKineses Hathor 1203 it's LOUD. So the MiniMax is going back and I'm getting a GK MB500. Haven't decided between the MB00 and the Fusion yet. I've heard here and there on TB that the Fusion has a different tone stack-- if it's much different than the regular M series I'm not interested. Sad about the Peavey though. I've been using Peavey stuff for decades. Kind of a comfort thing I guess. But, time to move on!
This one may take a little longer...
