It's a good day - might even say beautiful? or does that make Wednesday a prog Wednesday - it's a good day what begins with Tom Lehrer. He always reminds me of a bass teacher friend, when I recall I gave him my book of Toh Lehrer "words & music".
More than once gave consideration to an Epiphone EB-0. Near as I can tell from TB, the Epi mudbucker is a real sidewinder. A DiMarzio Model One is arguably an upgrade or sidegrade, depending on which thread you read... Another line of thought aired here at TB is the mudbuckers were only slinging mud because of the limitations of the equipment. All I know for sure is the SG body shape is rockin', same as the Thunderbird. Love me some Gibsons.
In theory. Personal experience leaves me up short on any useful observations.
Going to the horse pistol this afternoon to have my leg examined. Had barely closed my Tuesday when I learned I got dinged with a stupidly small bill for the surgery cancellation. Today was the day I was to have the joint fusion surgery.
It's my ring that was the first priority of the day as I heard back from the jeweler. Looks like my ring goes in the mail to Denver today or Thursday. It'll travel first to Glastonbury Tor and on to Italy. Would have preferred being with, but my passport is making its way through the bureaucracy.
