I don't put anything on my car. I figure someone, somewhere, is going to hate whatever it is that I like and that makes me a potential target for any looney tunes that are out there. And there are lots of those.

My car is too beautiful to be stickered....I don't put anything on my car. I figure someone, somewhere, is going to hate whatever it is that I like and that makes me a potential target for any looney tunes that are out there. And there are lots of those.
I might just pull the trigger on it. I don't have time to stop by GC today so maybe I'll just order online for new stock and then if I don't like it I can take it there for a return. Worst that can happen is I have to drive 3 miles.Recall @GonePlaid once said his mudbucker did everything except buck mud. The Curtis Novak sounds great to me, though. Find an EB-0 with a pre-fractured headstock, drop in a Curti$ Novak?
Admittedly the Gretsch Junior Jet has my attention. A lot of my attention.
Went to the horse pistol, couldn't find the office. Found someone who in the breast cancer centerwho was able to find out where I was supposed to go. The office I needed is across the street. Good thing I had my doctor's name to look up. A few minutes in exam, a prescription to be picked up Thursday.
Shipped my ring. First time I've had it off but for surgeries. Feeling very naked without my ring. Could be back as soon as April.
Well, I did it. The only band I'm doing any serious fast licks with is the blues band, since blues is so lick-oriented. You wouldn't think so, right? But I'm doubling a lot of what the lead guitar is doing, so it's more complicated than one might expect. To hear what's told, the little Getschbuckers on the Junior Jet are pretty choice.
Be a crazy mod platform for those inclined.
Forty years ago every short scale player I talked with offered some variation of "small hands", as if a short scale is somehow inferior. My personal experience as a lady GOF with enough osteoarthritis for everyone (and, unsurprisingly, no takers so I keep all mine) is my medium scale is more fun for me to play than my full scale.

There are a few Led Zeppelin songs we wanted to do in my main band which are challenging but my singer can't sing them, so... not happening. I don't really do anything too technically challenging with those guys, otherwise.
I figure if the Gretsch is dark in tone that might not be so bad for those purposes.
They have their momentsSounds like a fun blues band.![]()

Wow never saw the connection between Squier and Squier until pointed out now.i
(but in truth never owned a Yes album, and if I ever listened to Yes it was an incidental drive-by listen).
Naked til April... gotta be a song there somewhere....Recall @GonePlaid once said his mudbucker did everything except buck mud. The Curtis Novak sounds great to me, though. Find an EB-0 with a pre-fractured headstock, drop in a Curti$ Novak?

I am not a member of the band, because I don't want to do weekly rehearsals with them. I consider myself their first-call sub, but I do rehearse with them, just not frequently. So far I'm their only-call sub but I'm sure they'd get someone else in if they needed to.Do you feel like a member of the band, or like a guest artist?![]()
A couple of those would double my cost. Could be worth it if it plays as sweet as the one I had in my hands once.Makes me think of Oops!...I Did It Again.
For Gretsch instruments, I find that TV Jones makes the best replacements. Worth considering if down the road you want to make a change.
Bass Pickups
It's mighty purty!
I saw Yes four times during those Pat Moraz era times. The first of those was the first time I saw Yes (November 15, 1974).The Relayer tour was the best live show I ever witnessed.
Gryphon opened for them (in Indianapolis).
