No one would think of looking for hooch in an old delivery truck what with all Easy Rider and microbus types in their probable cause mobiles. Except the real criminals are in limos, a friend told me.

Funny you should mention it. Just today a friend wrote to say Wavy Gravy's "Nobody for President" bus is still parked at the Hog Farm in Laytonville. She sends this

Part of that whole monster and ghoul thing that ran parallel to the spy stuff in 66? Creepy was "in" for a bit.
The Munster vehicles inspired many. I came close to buying a 10 year old late 50’s Cadillac DeVille hearse. They wanted $250. It was beautiful.

Now that you mention it, drag racing was happening next to the spies and ghouls and The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Not to be confused with The Stones. Because Fred and Barney took Wilma and Betty to the World's Fair and heard Bug Music.

One of their hits in the 1940’s was called Smoke On The Water. I wonder if Texas kids played that song in music stores. They had a piano player, I imagine that it wasn’t easy to take a piano on the road. They must have had a trailer. Also of note, their bass player’s first name was Kermit, a name of Irish origin.
