Well I'm not there now anyway. Reports in last night the EU may ban Americans from traveling to EU countries. Who would imagine they don't want people there who don't listen to scientists and doctors?

I think that the EU talk of banning US travel is more about responding to the recent announcement of cancelling some temporary work visas in the US. I prefer to ignore the news.

It comes right on the heels of receiving my passport on Monday after 11 months of wrangling and years of effort and expense .... I've things to see to in several places, and, you know, more than eager to move. Staying in port too long is always trouble IME. There's a nice sailcloth duffle set I have my eyes on.

I seem to recall the odor of proscribed substances in use by youngsters in the park outside the museum. Wonder what that is about?

The price of disposable masks is dropping.
I have an environmentally friendly cloth one but only used it once where a store required it. I see that some retailers are now selling designer masks. It had to happen.

Visited "my" coffee shop today for the first time in three months. Because it's the first time in three months they've been serving. It's takeout only from a window at the sidewalk. Masks are required to order, and to pick up. They aren't accepting cash, and the lady at the window wears blue surgical gloves. A few tables are set up across the street. It is good coffee, as usual, but the entire thing puts me off a bit.
Took in some sunshine. Back tomorrow as I have a meeting with a lady who can't see me at her office.

Funny that you are allowed to take the mask off once you pay.
I heard of masks made with coffee filters. I imagine that it would be hard to drink coffee through said mask, it would only drip through.

Mrs. Tango makes cloth masks the you can insert a (unused) coffee filter in for extra filtration. But you can't use the cloth part in a Mr. Coffee, for example.

We walk across the street to drink the coffee in go cups. Obligatory TB proof of purchase. The statute in the distance to the east is under no threat of forced removal as it depicts a Union private blowing a bugle.

I took my copy of the theory book over to, I think, FedEx Kinko's and had them put a spiral binding on it. No more fighting with it to keep it open, no more clothespins on the music stand.
