Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

I took my copy of the theory book over to, I think, FedEx Kinko's and had them put a spiral binding on it. No more fighting with it to keep it open, no more clothespins on the music stand. Only a few bucks.
I ordered my copy spiral-bound. Still trying to get around to working in it. Lack of motivation. You could call it "covidation."

My copy is getting a bit dogeared. Started Unit 12 on Monday, and will post my commits on Sunday for my thrilling video proof of actual practice. Hey @LBS-bass how's your Getsch doing?
The Gretsch is great! I haven't been playing much of anything lately, but I drag that one outside sometimes for a little poolside noodling. I did make the mistake of taking it to back to back rehearsals which made me realize my shoulders and upper arms have a definite opinion about how big a bass should be, so I have to be careful about how much I play it. But I have no real complaints; it's a great value for the price!

Today is 6/23. It also marks 3 weeks that my wife and I have been unpacking after we moved. We still have plenty of things to do, but at least the end is in sight.

The movers brought 2 truckloads of stuff from the old house. I also had Junk King haul away 2 1/3 trucks of junk/stuff we didn’t want anymore. It’s not as bad as it sounds since the Junk King trucks are rather small.

I ordered slat wall boards from Diamond Gear for my bass room. They should ship on Friday. After I get them installed and get all of my music stuff in place, I’ll post pictures and a review of the Diamond Gear stuff.

I also told my wife that we are NEVER moving again. It is WAY too much work. The next time I move will be when 6 guys carry me out of here in a box.

Congrats on the move! Like you, my better half and I are contemplating the same thing. We are tired of what is happening and are considering down-sizing. Our plans even include a move to Canada for reasons that can not be expressed here ;).

Yeah I've downsized to "only the important things" and wondering about Europa again. As in how. Given all what's going on. A great opportunity presents itself in France and thinking hard on that. Well, more than thinking. I accepted the offer, but no idea how it will play out. I can't see that far into time at the moment. Uncertain if anyone can right now. The freedom of my passport all in order again feels good, anyway.

Congratulations. Don’t worry, you’ll fill up the new place before long. As I recall, you said that the new house was a bit bigger.

This ^ is totally true. Houses are the same as hard drives. They fill to capacity without provocation. The only difference is you can't compress a house. A compressed house is a tiny house, AKA a trailer. If I want to live in that small a space it'd better be a sailboat.

If you do go up to Canuckistan, and if the latter part of the fall in the U.S. of A. turns out to be grim, be expecting a knock on your door from your long-lost "cousin" Charlie!

On the ocean side of Vancouver Island, Sooke. Not that far from Victoria. Supposed to be a peaceful area. It’s an ongoing project.

My knowledge of Sooke is that it is on the eastern side of Vancouver Island, not far from Victoria but more closer to Georgia Strait (Straight) than the "ocean side" of Vancouver Island. Georgia Strait (Straight) is between Vancouver Island and the mainland, not on the western (ocean) side, as I recall.

I wonder if my copy of The Beatles Complete Chord Songbook is too fat for the treatment?

Great book. :)
Today is 6/23.
Hmm, today, my calendar say 6/24!
